Ajit humanoid robot created by KLE University.

A humanoid robot created by KLE University ( KLE Tech) has its roots in B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering Technology, Hubli (BVB), one of the premier engineering institutes of Karnataka. Ajit is built by the department of robotics and automation engineering.
Students with the guidance of faculty members have designed and developed a humanoid robot called ‘AJIT 1.0’. AJIT is built as an open platform that will be used to carry out artificial intelligence, image processing, and other research. The previous version of Ajit 1.0 was wheel-based locomotion but, the current version of Ajit 2.0 is legged motion. Ajit 2.0 was the only robot to represent India in a Global Expo 2019 held in South Koria. This type of robot is putting India on the global robotics map.

Kartik Says, “currently our juniors are working on Ajit 2.0 for advancement ( leg motion). They are also working to add more intelligence to the robot So, it can give information to people without using the internet.”
