India’s Tallest Humanoid Robot “BHIMA” – HoloWorld, a phygital Metaverse platform has unveiled “BHIMA”, India’s tallest Humanoid Robot as part of their Robotics Metaverse Experience.
Harsha Kikkeri, Founder of HoloWorld a Phygital Metaverse platform, launched Made in India bot “BHIMA” a 7.7 feet tall Humanoid Robot. It is designed to look bold and muscular with the detailing of amazing LED patterns on the body. It has many use cases and one of its primary use cases is that it can be used as a reception bot for interactions such as waving, pointing, answering questions, moving around, and greeting people. The bot is designed and manufactured in Mysuru, Karnataka. BHIMA’s hardware is capable of face recognition, face detection, and embodied AI which will be rolled out in subsequent metaverse platform updates.

BHIMA can be used at malls, in Education Institutes, and at various corporate events as well as in the entertainment field. This Robot can be programmed and trained by anybody by wearing our flagship product “HoloSuit”, connecting any actions through their body movements. The Robot has a lot of inbuilt AI capabilities, which is like an Avatar-based AI wherein it can interact with people, talk with them and recognize their faces which in turn will attract more attention.”
The use of humanoid robots like “BHIMA” is disrupting many industries ranging from entertainment and hospitality to service industries. BHIMA can perform administrative functions and socialize with visitors more efficiently. It would be a great hit in promotional events such as trade shows, conferences, and new product launching events. Humanoid robots are widely applied in the entertainment industry especially for filming movies.
Through human-robot interactions and targeted feedback, Educational Robots can be programmed to help with learning and develop high-end technical skills through individual and collaborative learning.
