Team Abhedya has achieved,
1) AIR 6 in DD robocon 2021,
2) AIR 14 in 2020,
3) AIR 4 in 2019, and the smart and simple robot award
4) AIR 2 in 2018 and judges special award as well. Every year students implement technology and innovation to increase their engineering knowledge.
Till now team Abhedya participated 8 times in the national DD robocon competition. The beginning is always hard and college from rural areas has to struggle more to reach the required resources. Students learn both hardware and software to be used on the robots. Each mechanism is prototyped and tested before actually implemented on the robots. Team members also get guidance and knowledge transfer from alumni. Team Abhedya also has well management experience.
sponsor
sponsor details: PCB POWER Market India has sponsored the PCB to Team Abhedya for this year. PCB POWER Market India has sponsored good quality PCB that helped to ensure the circuitry for the robots of the competition. Other than PCB POWER Market. As GCOEARA belongs to the ruler area PCB POWER was the only one who spooned us. Though Team Abhedya hasn’t lost hope and still gives their best every year in DD Robocon. Team Abhedya that is “Team India B ” is still looking for sponsorship.
challenges faced by Team
Yet There are many challenges that the members of Team Abhedya of Government college of engineering and research, Avasari Khurd, Pune are currently facing post success at the national event. The main challenge is the finance, as the college is situated in a rural area (60km away from the city PUNE) there are many resources availability and connectivity issues that the college is dealing with which results in the financial debt faced by the team of the college.
To overcome the issues the team members, have to travel 30-40 kms away from the campus of the college to make the resources available for manufacturing of the robots which results in great time investment over traveling and expenditures. On student funding, our entire team is dedicated. The lab is currently struggling financially. We are constantly seeking financial support, sponsorship, or the necessary funding or components. Therefore, we urge for sponsorship so that we can compete internationally
