Flipkart 2.0 GRiD challenge winner
Students from SRM institute of science and technology honor their institution by winning a national level robotics Flipkart GRiD 2.0 challenge.
Team Robotronics consisting of Adarsh Kumar Singh, Ajit Pathak, Rishabh Misra, and Shashwat Shrivastava winners among the 500 teams that participated in the national Flipkart GRid 2.0 Robotics challenge held on 16 January 2021. their problem statement was an autonomous stair climbing robot.
Rishabh Misra told, “I enjoy that because I am very much interested in the autonomous system. I got to do a lot of things to think and a lot of experience.”
Shashwat Shrivastava told, ” I remember that for one topic we did 10 to 15 meetings to decide things, because we have a zoom platform for a limited time. after every time limit, it gets stop. then, again we had to rejoin the meetings.”
Ajit Kumar Singh told, “final was strange to simulation, I thought that my work was completely over. the electronic guys & coding guys have to manage whatever it is. because actual construction is not possible. I thought my work is over, but luckily I had some role to play.”
The team provided feasible solutions to many specific problems. A lot of innovations were done in order to solve the problem statement. The team provides a generalized solution that was capable to work with the real-time situation.
The team was awarded with an EGV of ₹ 1,50,000 for emerging as national winners. they also were awarded
electronic Gift voucher of ₹ 1500 for clearing the first round & getting into the top 50 teams.
